For the 15th Anniversary of the release of ‘Reasonable Doubt’, Damon Dash sat down with VH1 to talk about Jay-Z and the classic album Reasonable Doubt . He reminisces a little and even hints that he misses the days when him and Jay-Z were a duo. It seems like all the duos eventually fall off. It makes me start to think these people we never friends to begin with and everything was always all for the money. Em and 50, Dre and Snoop and Jay-Z and Dame have all fell off and fell out. It makes me wonder if BIG would have still been with Bad Boy Records if he was alive, or would Puff Daddy had kicked him to the curb like he did all the other artist that have a bad year. The music industry is a shady one.
If was always rumored that 2Pac was about to leave Death Row before his death and that all the music he had up until that point was means of finishing out his contract which called for a certain amount of records. Sadly, Birdman and Lil Wayne remain on of the strongest relationships in the game. I say sadly because the other duos were so much stronger as a duo; as far as talent and creativity. Hopefully their bond will remain.
